You will be standing on water, looking down at a green sea turtle. That is the whole pitch. Playa Piskadó is where Curaçao's turtles come in to feed, and the waterbike puts you directly over them: no diving certificate, no snorkel mask, no getting your hair wet if you would rather not. You sit up, you look down, they are there. The bikes are stable enough that people are riding inside a minute. Your guide has been on this water since morning and knows which stretch they have been surfacing on today. An hour gets you past the busy end of the beach to the quiet water where they feed, with time to stop and just watch. He photographs the whole thing and sends it to you after, because nobody wants to hold a phone over open water.

- Turtle sightings are common, not guaranteed: Playa Piskadó is one of the most reliable places on the island to see green turtles, and most rides do. They are wild animals though, and no operator can promise them.
